Ritual House Coffee – Return & Refund Policy 

Return Window
We offer a 15-day return policy. You have 15 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:

Item must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition as received

Must be in original packaging

Must include proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

If a return is approved for reasons other than damage, defect, or error, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and may be deducted from the refund. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Non-Returnable Items (Perishable Goods)
Due to food safety regulations and the perishable nature of coffee, we do not accept returns on opened coffee products. This policy complies with California food safety standards.

Damages, Defects, or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within a reasonable timeframe (recommended within 3–5 days of delivery) at hello@ritualhousecoffee.com with your order details and photos, if applicable.
We will evaluate the issue and, at our discretion, provide a replacement, refund, or store credit.

How to Initiate a Return

If your return is approved, we will provide:

Instructions for return shipment

Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Shipping Costs

If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we will cover return shipping.

For all other approved returns, original shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping may be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. The fastest way to receive a different product is to return the eligible unopened item and place a new order.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or denial.

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider
